Blows my mind mind that I overlooked this for 3+ months, but even worse so that this passed QC...

I'm looking around to see if there are any adjustments I might be able to make before reluctantly handing it over to the dealership, but am not really seeing anything. Any ideas?

is it me or does that top hinge look pulled away a bit which would cause this issue. Yes its misaligned, I'd worry about water getting in.

The two vertical bolts on the hinge that go into the door if you loosen those you'll see they're slightly slotted which will allow for in out adjustment. The horizontal bolts on the body side of the hinge are for front and rear adjustment. I would be scared to take it to the dealer also. It should be fairly easy to adjust but once you tamper with it then they might blame you so I'm not sure.

    Dont touch it.

If you mess it up then give it to the dealer to fix, they'll spot the tool marks and no warranty work for you.

Not really seeing what you're describing as seem to be in the same condition as the passenger side. I haven't had any issues in the rain I've experienced so far, but I do wonder how it affects cabin noise on the highway....

I don't see any way to adjust those vertical bolts unfortunately...

    ---

I'll keep the post updated if/when this is resolved.

Did my 2017 Tacoma , It's exactly like I explained. You can't see it until you loosen everything up. But you better leave it alone.

also check your bed to cab and bumper to bed alignment. Those are notorious for being way off.

Yep. I've adjusted dozens of doors over the years. It's easy, but you need to know what you are doing or you can really get them out of whack. Sometimes what you think is going to happen when you adjust is not what really happens haha.
