Did you have to cut your valance or just remove it to put that bumper and winch set up on? Or did you have to pull the whole bumper off to get that piece off?

I had to cut into the bumper, although instructions for install say take bumper off. some members on TW said it was easier to cut while on. If the valance is the black plastic piece, It is still intact and in one piece, still connected to the chunk of bumper i cut off.

Yeah it's the black piece. Good to know! I wonder if I could just take that piece off and it would work? What do you think? I'm super indecisive about winch bumpers to get. Low profile for sure. Thinking of this kind or the US off-road one

I keep waiting on Decked to come out with their Tacoma drawers but they say they'll be released this year but no date yet. I just might have to do the same thing and build my own. Super irritating. So is ARE! I ordered my cap a month and a half ago and it's in but they didn't ship the mounting hardware with it and I have been waiting for the ADE dealer to get them in. They are slacking big time
