@anzousa on Instagram teased their 2016-2017 Tacoma Plank Style Projector Headlights.

Should be released sometime this week! They look awfully close to the ones OEMassive released. What do y'all think of them?

I think they're from the same factory in China..... They look pretty sweet, but we'll see how they perform. I'm waiting for @mesojdm to give his input before I buy a set of either of them. Does this company have a price for their set yet?

That led blinker is pretty cool (looks a little mustangish though) but I'd rather have stock headlights.

Haha I sent him a message yesterday when I saw these to see what his opinion was on them. He said, "They are brand new, so nobody knows the quality of the projector. I'd be willing to bet they are the same or worse than the stock projects.. since they are cheap China lights. I'll wait and see some output pics" True.

    Most likely.

I could not find any importing records for OEMassive. They must be doing business under a different name.

I'm no pro, so take my advise with a grain of salt!
There are 2 lights that just hit the market.(OEMASSIVE and ANZO.)
I have NOT seen any first hand, nor have I seen any light output shots.
If I were to guess(based on the price point and past history of aftermarket headlights) the light output/coverage/cutoff will be marginal at best. These style headlights are mainly for the cool looks factor. But.. I could be wrong.
I'm also willing to bet they come right out of the same factory.

The DRL tube on both lights are just an led strip behind the frosted diffuser bar. The factory LED DRL will smoke this in performance because A)they use higher quality chips B)the factory DRL LED's shine through specifically designed optics(like little magnifying glasses) focusing all the light and maximizing intensity.

If I had to choose between them, I'd lean towards Anzo because of the dedicated turn signal lights (3 bars on the inside). Of course, I would still have to upgrade all the LEDS.. cuz that's just how I roll.

I think the QS truck in the photos belongs to former TW member MilkTeacoma. He had it up on his IG showing the install @ Anzo warehouse or something in SoCal. Likely the same company.

Yeah they're both in Socal, both releasing at the same time, and the product looks identical.

I figured as much about the diffuser.... Is there any way to get a similar effect on the stock unit? Thanks for all the info, BTW. You might not be an "expert", but you know a lot more than me and like 90% of people on TW WHEN it comes to lighting.

We have them available on our site. They have ordered me a set to put in my Tacoma to see how they fit/output. No idea when they will be coming in though.

Any updates on these? My OEM headlight is fucked from using an inferior brand of HID bulb. Wanted to replace the headlight but OEM is about $900.

No updates. We've put lighting on the back burner so no telling when we will be getting these done. I know they are available and we are shipping them out.

I have a set of stock lights I purchased from an OR trim 3rd gen. They're used and some light pitting. I was going to do BHLM mod, but may hold off since I've got funds going to another project at the moment. I've seen you around Hacienda, so FTF meetup would be easy. What HID bulb brand did you use?
