So, I wrapped and unwrapped mine numerous times. I've been learning little tricks each time and they're getting better. Once I get them wrapped without a single wrinkle, I'll be happy.

Heat helps a lot. Start from the inside and work outwards. Make relief cuts for the awkward corners. You've gotta be very patient and also firm with pulling the vinyl. It's not easy, that's for sure.

From experience of wrapping race cars / trucks a heat gun is your friend or if your careful a propane torch.... if you can find a thick foam block to use as a squeegee that is awesome or a roller with a foam wheel on it makes weird corners a breeze to do... if none of those are available use your thumbs and just work a small area at a time to heat and stretch the vinyl over it. don't be afraid to make some relief cuts also some corners are almost impossible to shrink and stretch around.

A couple minor bubbles and a couple stretch marks....if I unwrapped it all and did it once more, it might almost be perfect. Wrapping all those funky curves is a total bitch.

Thanks OP and @MESO for the idea and for this thread. Learned alot and was inspired that it can be done with patience and "heat is your friend." Haha..

Note: Red push start and chrome delete by @MESO customs. waiting for the vent rings tho..

Vinyl wrap is awesome but hydro dipping is where it’s at.

Did mine this week as well. Not perfect but thanks to the camo pattern it’s not very noticeable.

The cheaper the vinyl, the harder it is to work with. With 3m you can literally wad it up into a ball and it will still unwrinkle with a heat gun. Cheaper vinyl, not so much.
