Cool thx, I really need a boot like that with fewer fins because I have super tight clearance between the boot and my lower shock tabs & bolt.

Yeah mine was too. Not only that but all my friends up here were going through boots after pretty much every trip out, not one has torn a boot since putting these on a year ago.

Another trick with aftermarket uniball LCA's is to put a 1/4" spacer between your ball joint adapter and the bottom of the spindle, you just have to use longer bolts too. That moves the CV up a 1/4" higher from the surface of the LCA which gives you more clearance to the LCA and the tabs and keeps the boot from rubbing stuff at full droop.

In this pic I just had two 1/8" washers to test it out but I replaced the washers with a solid 1/4" spacer. The guys at Solo told me about this trick and you can see how it helps the clearance quite a bit.

No Speedfreak did them for me and it was an complete PIA, it broke his press too. Next time I need to do some I'm just going straight to a machine shop that has a 30 ton+ press

To replace both boots I don't have to deal with that though right? Just remove the inner tripod thing and slide the boots down?

Have some wiring to do in a few weeks. Doing a blue sea 12 fuse block. 100a relay and some carling switches (4)

Also doing a tranny cooler in the near future. Got up to 230 just driving backroads.

Actively looking on CL for a rear bumper. I’d like to get a rear bumper. Hi lift. Winch. T case skid then I will be happy with the truck.

Does this not seem way too hot for the engine and the tranny ? This wasn’t even that steep of a hill..outside temp was 10014E9361A-109C-42DC-945E-C19D5651E39D.jpg

    Also curious to find out.

That's an ultra gauge right? Did it already have a transmission temp mode in it? I remember reading awhile back some difficulty with scangauge, wasn't sure if it's the same for this one.

I sent it in to ultragauge to be upgraded. It comes showing tc temp and I added a code to show pan temp as well. I LOVE the ultragauge
