We had a bunch when we lived in MD ate all the fruit off the apple trees....I got 1 or 2 seasons where I killed a bunch of squirrels just to get enough to harvest.

They are starting to thin out now.... when I put out the trap I usually catch one within 24hrs... earlier this year when I caught 3 in a day and could have probably gotten more had I kept setting the trap.

They ate my Chrismas Lights last year... also when it starts getting cold they will try and get into the attic and I'm really trying to prevent that.

I've seen them use cars to store there nuts and chew up wires multiple times. One car I inspected(for work) had it's airbox crammed full with acorns.

Around here, they are considered a pest... kind of cute, but a pest none the less.
