I was confused for a moment, because more than one of those descriptors "allegedly" fits me.

Found the set on CL. Seller took $400.

No issues with the used topic and their condition. The whole point is their rebuildable. I could buy them brand new and have them be as rust coated as they are in a year running them in Ohio.

They need some work. Had SAWs on the 5 lug and loved em.

They need new collars and the one body has a good bit of surface rust on it.

A collar/shim/seat set runs 73.40 (would need 2 sets". May call, see if I can't just get 2 collars) from SAW and a wire wheel or a few minutes carefully protected in a sandblaster for the rust.

Time Frame for install is still over winter. More parts to collect first and rebuild COs

Decided to grab a handheld CB the morning of the Rush Off Road meet. Had limited expectation for it. Surpassed those expectations, a lot. Solid HH unit. No problem hearing anyone in our group. No cutting in and out. I heard all and all heard me.

Also like the "mobile" aspect of this unit. Ie: I can put it in my wheeling stuff tote and not have a mic and reciever hanging out in the cab all the time that rarely gets used other than when wheeling.

Has a 12v DC charger and also takes batteries.

Green truck in front of the FJ.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=261&v=4yz0qNOhRXc

After almost 8 years on this site, this is the first time I can post wheeling vid's where I am actually in my truck and wheeling.

It's an overwhelming moment. So many years of going to meets and leaving my truck at camp.

The 3rd gen took a bad line, hit a rock and lost traction.

I went up in 4lo in "L" or "2", forget honestly. Right line though.

May have gotten really slick. Lots of tire spinning.
