First off this is not a Tacoma truck, it is my Ranger Edge 4X4 with the 4.0 SOHC that I have been having "issues" with. New motor with less than 4K on the overhaul. Slightly rough idle, runs OK at best but should haul ass.

The Stinger Pro 2 Smoke Machine cost me $150. I didnt have a smoke machine and be the second cheapest guy on the board... there is ALWAYS someone who is cheaper ; ), I do not want to spend $1k on a "pro level" smoke machine.

The kit is very well thought out and worked for me immedialtly. Included in the kit is an adaptor to attach the machines smoke hose to the evap test port... very nice touch and one less hassle to deal with. They do have a warning when using the tester in the evap system and that is to use an inert gas instead of compressed air... not a good idea to flood the gas tank with fresh air, especially if the tank is almost empty... a spark from the fuel pump could cause an explosion in the fuel tank.

The air tube adapter was manufactured by me. I bought a 5/8 thick plastic cutting board at Home depot and used a drill press and a hole saw that was "close enough" in diameter to the ID of the air intake tube and cut it out. I drilled the pilot hole to 3/8 so that I could put a "2 1/2 bolt with washers and nuts on either side so that I could chuck it up in my lathe and turn it so that it is round.

I will fix these 2 leaks first then re-smoke her.

thanks... at closer look the EGR leak comes from the vent holes around the bottom circumference of the diaphram. The Throttle body is the shaft.
