I'll try and get you a couple of pictures of the inside this week. No issues with these. I love that you can easily remove them if you need the additional space to do some hauling. They are super easy to install. Keep and eye out on eBay, Craigslist or Facebook Market Place. I got this hardly used set off Craigslist for $150! A brand new one would cost double!

Ha! Depends on the "use" I guess...

To answer the OP's question. Toyota toolbox is great. It's big, and it attaches right to the rails.

You can see mine in this picture of my useless DCSB.

Thanks to those that provided helpful information. I just bought my 2013 having only previously owned a 2000 before that. I now know that both 1st gens and 2nd gens have to use the beveled toolboxes no matter what. That's what I was trying to find out. I ended up going with an UWS Low Profile Black and it looks great.

I currently don't have anything behind my seats. I haven't owned her long enough to fill up those spaces.;)

I have always had a toolbox though. I keep all of my ratchet straps, tow cables, tarps, tools, etc., etc. in there.

I bought a Kobalt this past Friday evening. It sat on my truck for all of about an hour. I mounted it and went to take the front sticker off and it peeled away almost all of the paint. It went right back to Lowe's immediately after.

Here is the Dee Zee toolbox, and an early shot of my canoe rack that has since been finished and painted... and used and scratched back to metal. But that is another story.

The lower boxes under the seat have a bunch of that stuff in mine, on top of duct tape, gloves, the jack etc.. Play around with packing it. I made the lower bins recovery, behind driver water and light camping gear (hammock and trowel and stuff) and behind the passenger rear I have a small set of tools, small compressor, tire repair stuff...

Pictures as promised! Hope this helps! Keep your eye of Facebook Market place or craigslist. I got both of these for $150. Which was a steal!
