We do, but we both work and both take turns with day care duties, etc. Just isn't practical having the AC.

Yup, bingo, nail on the head. I miss my old AC too, which I said why I am happy with the DCSB, but is not even practical as a truck because of the bed. Yes that extra foot makes it that big of a deal.

    I'd love one day to get my wife a 4Runner 4x4, sell the DCSB 6MT 4x4, and buy a AC 4x4 6MT.

Just don't see the the practicality in putting $10K + into a Tacoma.

So many simple builds with a camper shell+drawer storage=incognito versatile camper. I was always enamored by the set up, as I'm sure many AC owners agree on... ahhh, maybe one day.

    This is truth.
In my mind, you don't buy a Tacoma because you want a TRUCK. I'd buy a SC RAM 2500 M/T if I just wanted a TRUCK. I bought my 2017 DCSB TRD Pro M/T because it does everything I want it to do and a couple of those things it does very well. It was just a blast to load up the whole crew and go 4 wheeling as a family. Now, mind you...we weren't doing the Rubicon, but everyone had plenty of room, we were blasting tunes (ya, ya...i know what the haters will say...its not a kick ass audio setup-but again, more than adequate) and soaking up bumps with those Fox shocks. Everyone had smiles plastered on their faces. There's definitely a lane for this vehicle.

I like everything about my truck. I have the DCSB Sport M/T and it's just a blast. I will get a Ram in the future when I buy a bigger boat to haul around. I pulled two jet skis this past weekend and you can definitely feel the drag from a stop. But, it's everything I need at the moment. When I had a dirt bike, I got the hitch carrier instead of putting it in the bed.
