I couldn't find a set of splines lug nuts and locks so I bought a pack of 24 extended thread lugs (ETL). Then just the other day I bought 4 locks. All from Amazon. I wanted to see myself if the regular spline key would fit the locks or vice versa and the answer is no. Now I have both keys in my truck.

    I also have this kit:

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Gorilla-...9545&wl11=online&wl12=159201209&wl13=&veh=sem

Which was given to me at the time of my wheel/tire install by the shop ATO where I had it done. It has a extension and two double sockets that fit just about any lug nut, but most important, it fits the keys that come with these lug nuts (both types).

So all in all we're talking less than $80 bucks for lugs, locks, and the wrench kit. To me, it's a small price to pay for a little bit of security. I say little bit because if it's a experienced thief they will get your wheels no matter what. I plan on adding a better car alarm to my truck because I park it in a lot of public places including a garage in downtown Baltimore.

    Hope this helps you decide.

Oh, welcome to the forum :hattip:.

Which lugs and locks did you buy? Got a pic of the wheels on your truck?

    Thanks!

At the bottom of every thread there's a list of items discussed in the thread. Everything we're talking about is listed there. But to make it easier until you get the hang of things.....

24 Black 12x1.5 Closed End ET Spline Tuner Lug Nuts for Aftermarket Wheels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ROTVZ2M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_AfvWzb8MJZPC7

    And here:

Gorilla Automotive 21631BC Black Chrome Small Diameter Wheel Locks (12mm x 1.50 Thread Size) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C5SFYNI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_EivWzbQKKX687

Sure, I have a pic or two but my wheels are SCS Limited Edition Brushed Copper and they rarely sell these. I have heard rumors though it might happen soon.

I just can't help showing off these wheels!

I'm sorry but every time I go through any of the SCS wheel threads and see any of the styles mounted up on the multitude of trucks it makes me wish I could hit the lottery. I swear I would have a couple 4Rs and Tacos each in different configurations. Props/many thanks to all of you guys for posting up pics. I so enjoy them!

    It's like they hypnotize you.

Now the Stealth 6s with that machined lip is calling me hard! Man that's a work of art.

What about the gold ones I saw somewheres? I think the gold was a special request maybe? Brushed gold I think it was?

And I saw some yellow(ish) ones too. Guessing those were custom coated/painted?

I'll post up a motivational picture, why not. I wasn't sure if the Ray10's were a little too flash at first, but they are growing on me. I just wish my truck was a different color.
