I have had numerous issues with my "early 2017" I bought it in sept of 16. grinding noise, low gas mileage (before mods) and a bad radio unit or two... (just would restart for no reason) im on my 3 radio cause the 2 before where garbage. Trans was 3 qts low on fluid and would slam into gear and I still have clunk on acceleration.

    That being said,

I just drove a 2017 DCOR and it was great. It was smooth and no clunk or issues with gas mileage. So I think the build quality over a the 2016/early 2017 is much better and it could be a hit or miss type situation.

I suggest you "TAKE A VERY... LONG TEST DRIVE" when you choose. Look at the trip mileage with your normal driving habits, feel the trans/shifting in stop and go traffic and look the truck over very carefully. Dont chose a truck from another deal and have them drive it down... drive to the other dealer and look your truck over before the deal is done and you should be good...

    good luck!

Note: this took some digging, but I have confirmed member "69others" works for Toyota's marketing department.

I bought mine in late May and I already put 8000 miles on the car. No issues here.

I noticed my tow package was slanted. Toyota mechanic said it was probably installed in a hurry, but took care of it. Other then that no issues.
