With several home projects coming up I needed a PU. With most of my budget being remodeling I wanted stay low on the PU price but I needed something fairly dependable. What's out there (in my area) for 10k or less is high mileage F150's and absolutely worn out or abused. I looked at 4 trucks last week in the $3000.00 to $6500.00 range and walked on all of them. The seller of the Mazda PU got offended when I said, "Nope, Not What I'm Looking For" and went off on me. "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO FIND ANYTHING BETTER FOR $5,500.00"! (I didn't reply, just got back in the car and left.) I started to tell him your Mazda with 109k miles is a worn out Dog. Coming back home after driving 2 hours to see the Mazda Dog I go back to FB Marketplace and Craigs List. On FBMP there's a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, xcab, manual, 2wd, 210k miles for $5900.00. Checking out the pictures it looks Good, I send a message to the seller. We met at Lowes yesterday and look over the truck. It looks to be in good condition, so we go for a test drive. Driving it it seems OK. A little vibration but it's a low end PU. I ask the owned "What's your best price"? He replies 5500 and I tell him it's a deal. I met him later yesterday and got the truck.

Over all I think it's OK but it does have some vibration (and noise) in the drive train. After digging here, I see lots of 3rd Member threads so I'm wondering if the vibration is possible the rear-end. Also the drivers side Manual mirror is broken. I've looked around here and haven't found the solution to the broken manual mirror (yet).
