Well I'm came from downtown SA to north with no issues. Parked in the back, not too far from a group of tundras.

    Hello everyone,

I was in the Silver 3rd Gen Tacoma. Unfortunately I could not stay long but 20 minutes. LostHusker great meeting you, will have to bookmark this thread and keep my eyes open for next meet. Would love to check out other Tacomas in town.

Good evening everyone. I'm in SA and am wondering if anyone by chance knows where I can get my hands on some 4x4 swap parts for my 01 Tacoma. Thank you. My name is Tony by the way.

I was just wonder, Has the TW San Antonio and or Austin bunch ever had a Tacoma Swap Meet? I'd imagine there are a lot of people with parts they'd like to sell/trade and a lot of others just looking for parts. I also would think that we'd all show up with our stock parts removed from our mods and no one else would have anything of interest. In other words, I'm looking for some rocksliders man!!!!

There was actually just some sliders on there. I think that thread is your best bet. I don't know how often guys in the immediate area are looking to trade or sell. At least not enough to warrant a dedicated swap meet. Most guys I've seen organize a transaction in either the classifieds or one of the BS threads then get together on their own or one of the monthly meet ups. But if you're looking for something, put it out there and people will keep their eyes open for you.

If you guys need any powder coating done, I cannot recommend Conver Technical Coatings enough. They did TWO COATS on my front and rear Pelfreybilt bumpers and all the extra parts for $240 +tax. They had an issue with some juice leaking out of a weld on the rear bumper after the first coat and stripped the whole thing back to bare steel and did it all over again, all without charging me a penny more. They finished in 4 days, one business day behind schedule, but honestly, I don't care. The finish is immaculate. I tried to tip the owner, Penni, an extra $40 for their trouble, but she refused it, sticking to the original quote instead.

Apparently they have a steady flow of work from a business partner that more than pays all their bills "so (they) don't have any reason to gouge on price". I am extremely satisfied and will be returning to them for all my powder coat needs. They're located right off Rittiman and 410 and she gave me the quote with nothing more than stock pictures from the Pelfreybilt website via text message. If you or anyone needs powder coat, call everyone in town, then call Penni. You won't be disappointed.

This listing in Fort Worth has the parts you need. I was there last weekend- transfer case, transmission, and front diff were all still there.
    Prices were good.

Hey guys, I've got a black hood, black front bumper with factory fogs, and a chrome rear bumper with the factory tow package attached is anyone needs/wants any of it. Rear bumper is perfect, front has killed a lot of bugs, hood has a buffable scratch in the clear coat. Pics available on request. Lemme know!

Does anyone know how to make the navitron stop talking about "slow traffic" and "stop and go traffic"? It's seriously annoying. I normally don't use the navitron but I'm not used to my new commute yet. I live in San Antonio, I know, it's always slow traffic, stop telling me! It took me almost an hour and fifteen to go 20 miles to work yesterday.

    Can't help you there.
Where are you coming from and how long you been in San Antonio? Traffic will vary depending on time of day.

I was hoping there was option for it to skip those messages. I moved here from small town Idaho where I was last stationed. So, over 6 months now. No kidding about traffic changing at different times of day. I adjusted my last jobs work schedule to get up good and early so I didn't have to sit in gridlock the entire length of 151. I don't know if I'll have the luxury where I work now. Like yesterday, it took 30 minutes to go 3 miles on Bandera.

Yeah screw that. Bandera's one of worst major streets in SA for traffic. I'm by the medical center in north SA and have about a 15 min commute to the airport around 12pm - it doesn't make sense but hey I'll take it.

I've had 3 different commutes since I've lived here. This is by far the worst. The 3 routes that Google and the Tacoma both present are all equally terrible. Here's to hoping I can get an early morning shift when my onboarding is done.
