    **update

Happy to report I'm now officially a first time Tacoma owner!

Picked up the truck on Friday, a 2015 TRD OR with 40k miles. Pyrite Mica color. When I finally saw it I new it was the one.

Spent all day yesterday driving. Woke up early and took a drive near the coast and later picked up my brother-in-law to go cruising. After driving a Civic for 11 years, the truck is a definitely a different driving experience, I love it, so much fun to drive.

I'm in OC, so I've been looking up beginner friendly trails in the area and eyeing the trails around Maple Springs and Main Divide road. Looking for something that I can do stock for now. As someone who hasn't driven a 4x4 before, want to take things slowly. Mostly I'm excited to get outdoors more, explore, and see beautiful scenery.

Also, anyone know of any easy trails/roads in the Bishop area? I might be going there soon for a camping trip.

    --------------------------------------------

    hey all,

Don't have a Tacoma yet but will most likely be retiring the 11 year old Civic. Looking forward to getting off road to go camping, exploring, and seeing more of the beauty of the nature. Been lurking the forums for a while, looks like a great community here.

I just traded in my 06 civic for my truck earlier this year. It's been a great change.

I have a 06 Civic as well, just hit 235k miles on a trip to Seqouia National Park.

Thanks for the info, will do a little bit more research here. Civic should be able to buy me a little more time :)

Lol, I also had an 06 civic I got rid of when I got my truck. It was an Si, lots of fun, but the Tacoma was a nice change.

Man, my 06 is so old I can't recall what trim it is. But basically a two door coupe.

Haven't had AC in 4-5 years. To cheap to fix it haha.

about to test drive a 2015 DC trd 4x4 OR from Carmax. Supposed to arrive tomorrow or the day after. Im in Cali but the truck spent two years in Massachusetts. Having a mechanic inspect it and check for rust.
