My first Tacoma was a blue 2008 TRD Off Road with the manual 6 speed transmission. Loved that truck, it was wrecked.
My second and current Tacoma is a 2010 TRD Road, auto, great truck. 130,000 miles, other than regular maintenance, I had to replace the oil pan gasket, no problems. I plan to take good care of it and drive it another 100,000.
I don't do a lot of off roading, most of what I have done I've done in Big Bend National Park, where both Tacomas excelled.
