Yes but the one your looking at is 4774 dry, empty etc.... Your looking at minimum 5500lb. Still under 6k. But, just saying you are pushing it with your truck .

Wow ! Good stuff, very curious how it pulls? I can see flat and down hill doing great but does it bog way down on grades. Not that I'm ever in a hurry .
I currently pull 4100 wet and loaded . It does ok on grades. Then again I have all the time in the world

Thanks. Had new bearings, tires, 2 propane tanks. Tons of xtra camping gear. And every piece of paperwork for the trailer and appliances. And it's only 2200lbs loaded with water. Outside shower.

All that matters to me is having a nice, comfy shitter. Maybe a comfy bed, too. But the shitter is top priority for me. I'm thinking of building out an 8' cargo trailer with a shitter and shower in the front and use the rest for hauling toys and gear and whatnot. I will sleep in a camper shell like an ARE MX with a walk-in door with no problem at all. No RTT for me. Ever. If I want a treehouse, I'll find a tree.

Thanks man we love having one. It is a Colman/Fleetwood Stoney needs some work but for the price of a good tent it was worth it.

@Casper, are you still thinking of a solar set up on ur trailer? I was looking at the new harbour freight set up. I might end up going for it.

My wife and I got a used aliner. We've only taken it out once (bought it a month or so ago and we are doing some maintenance and suspension work on it) but it kept the bugs and dust out while sleeping 4 (albeit in cozy fashion.). You can get an 18 footer (including tongue) thats maybe 2000 lbs dry. Or the one we have, 15 feet long and about 1500 lbs.

There's a guy on expedition portal that put Deaver leaf springs and AT tires on his aliner to make it off road worthy. That's the route I'm hoping to go with this.

hate to say it, but ur gonna want a new truck. you could go with a ford if you like smaller block engines, ( the ecoboost 3.5 v6). if that is not at all a possibility, then look into a rv, or i know that jay-feather makes some nice light trailers. also, if you don't have a family, you could look into what are called teardrop trailers. they are a little pricey for what you get, but that 3.6 could handle it no problem.

    or this one

I wanted a Casita until I met some Oliver owners who used to have a Casita. Casitas have no insulation - they're single wall fiberglass. Problematic freezing. Oliver's are double walled, insulated. Now I just have to win the lottery...
