Not sure if I wanna pay $157 in shipping. 6 injectors / 6 harness .. how in the hell is that $157 for FedEx ground. I think shipping for y pipe and exhaust were less.

Yea Gadget said his new website's shipping module is charging separate shipping per item. He's working on debugging it. He said place the order then email him and he'll refund the difference. Or wait till Wednesday and give him a call.

Still a lot of bugs in the new website I see. No fuel pump available for the '05-'15 Tacoma either.

Gadget said he was trying to debug it. I like the fresh look but there really wasn't anything wrong with the old site, IMO.

Also the coupon code I used before is inop. :pout:

Yeah I found the same prob, I wanted to order the URD y-pipe today. It says on the site 10% off, but then only orders through as list price, plus the old ForumMember coupon code isn't working either. I hate to wait, but after spending a small fortune at URD I'll wait until I get a good price.

In the mean time, I've ordered a couple of the shorter Dayco belts (my belt was still slipping). They should be here in a day or two so it will give me something to do. Hopefully that will eliminate the belt slipping prob

Yep, I'd like to upgrade the injectors but I'll wait until a coupon code comes up, or maybe a Black Friday Cyber Monday sale.

I have the shorter belt too. Haven't put it in yet though. Because I'm lazy, lol.

I liked the old site much more, just waste of time and money just update for nothing. Much more difficult to use by phone.

I think it might have been due to issues behind the scenes with ordering.

I'm curious and will need to check my data logs to see what the duty cycle is for the wot rpm range I would drive in.
I honestly don't think I'll ever be winding it up as high as I did for the test, but 4.5 to 5k is definitely possible.
If your afr's stay in a stable range during use even up to the redline as we did for our data logs, is it worth the extra $ for bigger injectors?

If you're not hitting 80% duty cycle, it's not really necessary to upgrade the injectors.

I'm going one size up because sometimes I may want to do a WOT run and would rather have a little headroom to work with.

85% duty cycle is the tuning standard. I wonder how much more fuel from the 7th injector the UCON will add. I would imagine all the way to 100% duty cycle if need be. If you guys are at around 40% duty cycle on the 7th and 80% on the primaries I think you are fine. The only way to know for sure is datalog at the lowest altitude on the coldest day for your area. That will place the largest fuel demand on your fuel system since that will be the densest air your engine will see.

    @12TRDTacoma @Torspd @jojotoo

Guys, thanks for helping me find the right belt to fit my 2.55 pulley. I got it on yesterday but haven't driven the truck yet. Hopefully this will cure the slipping problem I had that came with the stock belt

(accidentally double posted, went into wrong thread first time)

No problem man! It was a bear for me to find, so I don't want other people going through the same ordeal I did. The more information available out there to us the better so I'm just spreading the love. :)

My dyno sheet, overall a little disappointing, it looks like the belt was slipping at around 3800 rpm. Ambient temps were 85 degrees

Did you just do this dyno? That amount of power and torque looks about right though. What are your mods? How much boost are you maxing at now and if you get this much power at warmer weather, imagine what it will perform like on 60*F and below days. :)

This dyno was a week ago. Boost gauge goes up to 10psi and it was pinned during this dyno run.
I guess I was only disappointed in the belt thing, other than that it's pretty much what I expected out of the build. Considering the stock bottom end, I sure don't want to grenade it, but on the other hand wanted a drivable street vehicle that pulled well throughout the rpm range, and as shown by the torque curve it attains that goal.
I have the TRD (magnuson) blower, DT long tubes, 2.55 pulley, 7th injector, exhaust cam gears, 180 thermostat, UCON, and AFE dry air cleaner with added Volant scoop. As soon as Gadget gets his new website straightened out, I'll be buying the URD y-pipe to use with the stock muffler (lol until I find another cat back with suitable noise levels)

Okay okay. That looks like a nice build. Your belt should be under control now that you got the new one on. Did you get a press on 2.55 pulley or a quick change like I have?

I'm close to hitting 11 psi on a 86*F day if I hold it in boost for longer than a brief moment of time like I usually do. Otherwise I normally sit at about 9.5-9.7 psi. I guess it takes more than a few seconds for the blower to build up max boost it is capable of pushing with it's respective pulley size configuration.

You may be being slightly choked up with that Y pipe if you are still using the stock one. I couldn't believe how restricted it is when I saw it!
