Edit: Plenty of room, but I'm use to backpacking tents. There's a hard sided double gun case and backpack next to me.

I want a Softtopper so bad! I really need to sell some of my old motorcycle shit and get the funds...

What color would look best on an Inferno DCSB OR? I'm thinking Grey? Initially thought tan but having second thoughts..black goes with everything, so in essence I have no clue. Lol.

I initially wanted a bed cover but then realized if I get a tri fold unless I get the fancy pricey one that folds onto the rear window it does not allow full access to my bed. I will often be transporting bikes (SS 29'er or couple road bikes) And a roll up cover just seems cheap for some reason and not as sturdy unless you spring for the solid metal ones that cost more than a softtopper...I could be wrong..

Plus if I ever wanted to camp a topper makes it more bearable.

I would love to see all 3 colors of the softtopper side by side on an Inferno...

    Bueller, Bueller....

I like being different and unique. I would do grey with gunmetal wheels to compliment it.

pic of mine setup for an overnight- I'm using a lightweight cot w/ an inflatable pad- I found it to be roomy enough and plenty comfy

I threw in a memory foam mattress topper (1.5" thick) with a fitted sheet. Secured the whole thing with bungees along the edges (probably not neccessary), then unzipped/laid-out a sleeping bag for a little extra padding and protection from the rest of my camping gear i threw on top. Worked like a champ and way better than any air mattress. Slept great for 3 nights back there.

Just ordered a black softopper for my 2017 quicksand short bed. The company seems nice to deal with and even threw in some extra velcro so I can secure the front of the doggy door to the rear of my cab hopefully.

The same shit everyone else has.
No platform for me either, just an air mattress right on the bed mat. I like the head room and extra space of not having a platform.

Not a platform I just use an air mattress. Its pretty tight when you try to sit up. By pretty tight I mean you can't!

Just installed it! Loving the tan on silver and the quality of the topper.

Tomorrow, I'll put together my sleeping platform.20170922_190701.jpg 20170922_190710.jpg

SHit. Tan on silver looks way better than I would have imagined.

Sleeping platform in the softopper. I have the doggie door as well. Works great and doesnt flap around in the wind as expected. I may not even velcro it down, not sure yet.20170924_084537.jpg

Got mine installed last Friday, just in time to be tested by the rain all weekend. The install was easy. Still wondering if I need to move it closer to the cab or not.

Puppy was testing it out as well.
