Did you send me one? Even if you did, I'm betting I slept and went all Mememto on you. Or lost it in a 10 page skip-to-the-end-because-I-ain't-reading-all-that episode.

I would send you a pic but I'm not an official Austinite so I don't know if I'm welcome...

In other news one of my Cadillac bros works at a Toyota dealership in finance and totally helped me get a friend into a really nice Rav4 today since her car just totaled. It's MGM like my 4runner and she looked at me when it was done and said "Oh look our cars match again!" She is totally excited about joining the Toyota family and she was smiling so hard I feel like her face is going to hurt tomorrow.

With all this oil talk and extended periods of change intervals... which I'm all for, A good thing to look into is an oil analysis kit, such as blackstone labs: https://www.blackstone-labs.com/free-test-kits.php

This will give you a great report on actual engine health and oil analysis and change recommendations. Not saying the recommendations above are bad, just more for actual peace of mind and not too expensive.

Also, +1 for the fumoto valves  waiting for my next change to finally install one

That's a really good idea. I think I might get one and see what the amsoil had been doing to my engine.

How do you chance an oil filter without draining the oil :anonymous: oil comes spewing out when you take the filter off

Mines always drained within 5 or so minutes

Isn't it bullshit, the 5.5 quarts? One quart container is half the price of a five quart, I rant every other time I change my oil about that

Ohey I recognize that place :anonymous::anonymous::bananadead:
