Thing is, it's actually fairly likely the chick burried him in the woods or something. Women like that normally don't have limits.

Is the CV toast or did it just pop out of the cup. o_O

I'd stuff it back in and rock it.

Not necessarily, it depends on the dealer. Doesn't hurt to ask. It could possibly save you time and money. Worst case they tell you no.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially since you said previous owner had it lifted even higher, probably resulting in CV destruction. Great looking truck man, and hats off to keeping it serious and working to get your truck back on the trails.

Just finished wrenching. Took out both cv axles and put new ones in. The driver side one causing me problems was completely seized and wouldn't move! Tested it out while it's still on jack stands and seems to be working. Going to finish tomorrow night after work lowering lift so it's not so stressed because previous owner has it way too high.

I'd love to see photos of the truck sitting on the ground under its own weight so we can check those CV angles.

It will settle some when you drive it but the angles look OK. Some light racing upper control arms would really help out.

Finally finished wrenching on truck and everything is fixed. Replaced both cv axles and lowered lift so it's not quite so high stressing the boots out. Thanks to everyone for your help! Really meant a lot and cool to see how nice everyone is when you need help! TacomaWorld rules!!!
