    I had to work on Polly quite a bit when she was younger too.

    Best thing was to stop using my hand and get a training collar. Minimal shock therapy, more just using the tone (beeper)

    We use a collar too when we are chilling on the porch at home ect. She knows to be good just by putting it on her. She'll just sit there with us, while other friends' dogs might run off the porch to see another dog, cat, ect.
