iPhone 8 / X

Apple loves giving the shaft, 64 gigs? It's 2017, not acceptable.

Facial recognition .. another way for mark zuck to get your info ..

Probably going to pre order a 256 gig X and just not use the facial recognition aspect of it.

 

i have the 7plus no huge difference or motivation to give apple more money for very little difference in the 8 8plus, and the x looks like an s8... so no motivation to upgarde for $1000.00 there would rather spend it on a lift kit

 

Probably getting an iphone 8 when my contract with my galaxy s7 will end. Already have the iphone 6 and love it, it's getting slow so that's why i will buy the 8, no need for the new X, WAY too expensive and i don't really need it.

iphone _ Plus = way too big, i don't understand this Big phone trend... i don't want to bring an ipad in my pocket

 

The X has a bigger screen but the phone is smaller .. no bezels. I've been waiting for a bezel-less iPhone forever.

 

I like big phone's and I cannot lie.

 

I think the X looks sexy. Not scared of the Face ID, they say all that data stayed only on your device. Same with Touch ID.

I’ve bounced back and forth from iPhones to Androids and sure Androids have cooler new features but iPhone polishes those features to work near perfection. iPhones are so much more reliable imo.

 

Your right, me too but 1300$ can for the 64gb, no thanks

 

If you record a lot of 4K vid it will go fast

 

i have a 7+ and didnt plan to upgrade but apparently were switching to Verizon for work and they're buying X's so i guess ill take a free X.

If i were spending my own money, id be staying with my 7+

 

I just did the update about twenty minutes ago. Haven't spent much time with it but I do like the way the lock screen opens. The way it slides up is pretty cool. I've got a 6s. I may upgrade to the 7, maybe. No issues with my present phone so far.

 

My 6 is failing so I went onto AT&T Mobile to upgrade, and my 8 wont ship until between 10/2 & 10/8.

 

I can't find any pics on what it looks like. I know you can change the widgets and stuff when you swipe up but what about the animation to open and close and app, and double click to swap apps. I don't like how slow it is on iOS 10

 

So is the camera for face Id constantly running? Creepy...

 

If someone wanted to watch, they don’t need the face ID camera. Phones have had front facing cameras that could watch you 100% of the time, for a long time. Same with computers. That’s just the world we live in.

I currently have a 6s and love it. I am trying to decide if I want the X when it is released. I probably wouldn't even consider it, but I want water resistance and wireless charging. My wife just switch from a Samsung to an 8 plus, but if I am going to upgrade, I am going all out and getting a 256gig X.

 

Until you try to use them in the cold. Without fail they will shutoff and not restart until warmed back up.

 

I had a 6 plus, got the 8plus on launch day. It is tight. Love washing it off in the sink haha. Plus the camera is great.

 

I’ve been through 2 degree weather and my phone showed no signs of anything wrong. But it’s not like I was trying to stay in that type of weather either, I was high tailing it into a building with a heater.

 

Starting at about -5-10° they just stop working. I'm not sure what's different with the hardware Apple uses but it's happened with friends' 5s, 6s and 7s.
