Lol. It was actually by accident. I dropped my 4runner off for it's 5k interval and walked into the parts department to kill some time. Low and behold they have a rack of the 4runner Pro TRD mags in black or gray. And right next to it is a SCS Ray 10 in matte Gunmetal Gray. I asked about price and they quote $244 per wheel. That includes lugs. When you figure in shipping, you are only paying a small premium over buying direct from SCS. I told the parts manager I'd be back the next day if I wasn't able to grab some from the monthly SCS shipment frenzy.

Luckily I was able to nab the SCS mags I wanted so I saved on sales tax and some of the premium by not buying from the dealer. In the long run it's only going to amount to probably $150 but that'll pay for most of a tire and sensor.

Planning on the keeping the OR rims, wheels, and TPMS sensors intact until I know for sure the 2017 Tacoma is a long term keeper.

Picked up my set of ray 10's from their warehouse today. These look even better in person. I can now say they are worth every dime. Got to meet Vuth and Vin. Talked with them for awhile. Such down to earth chill guys. Also got to check out Vin's personal black 2nd gen Taco. #tacogoal While I was there I picked up a set of lugs and wheel locks. They even gave me some free stickers. Can't say enough nice things about these guys and the company. Super friendly and great customer service. To everyone waiting for their set of SCS wheels, you will not regret your purchase.

Did anyone have rubbing with 265/70/17's at stock height? I am having some when I am going down a drive way/dip in the road/ going into a sharp turn at a faster speed. I took the front and back mud flaps off of the front wheel wells but think I am going to have to get a grinder and do some trimming
Anyone have any advice or help?
    Thank you!

it seems to be the backspace and offset of the new wheels that makes em rub on stock height, I think I am just going to lift mine and seal the deal @Pawnstar23

Anyone have a set of Ray 10s on their inferno taco? The color of the truck is awesome...but its kinda hard to match wheels to it. I know I probably can't go wrong with black, but I'm interested to see if anyone tried the matte bronze or matte grey.

I have reason to believe that @kperatt09 will have some Ray 10s that you speak of on his Inferno here soon. :spy:
