@ItsRichieRich Nothing wrong with Deaver. I believe there's a medium duty Dakar pack as well. Check with Marie from @HeadStrong Off-Road . Seeing that Deaver is local that might be an advantage to you. Additionally what I've seen alot of members do is do a ubolt flip kit with their new leaf pack and adding wheeler's bumpstop or sumosprings. it looks like Marie isn't too far from you. 40-60 minutes away.

Does any here run or know someone who is running the Baja Kits - kit?

    http://www.bajakits.com/i-26499173-...4wd-2-prerunner-kit.html?ref=category:1339668

    Some info on the kit:

    Description
Baja Kits Plus 2 suspension is just that a bolt on 4" total wider track width making for more wheel travel, increase on and offroad stability, ground clearance, larger tires and shocks. This kit is made to fit perfectly on your Toyota by replacing the stock rubber bushings and ball joints with Trophy Truck quality zero deflection Delrin Bushings and Uniballs, the strength and handling qualities are substantially increased. We also increase the caster angle to get rid of the loose front end feeling that often occurs with mid to long travel suspension kits. This kit is designed to be paired with 2.5 coil overs and optional 2.5 bypasses which can be installed upon initial install or later down the road (Bypass mounts will require welding)

    The Baja Kits Advantage:
    - CAD designed boxed UCA
    - Trophy Truck grade Delrin bushings with grease fittings for industry leading durabilty and a quiet, no squeak ride
    - 1" Hi angle Trophy Truck grade uniball's replace the weak stock ball joints that fail under hi angles and loads seen from normal offroad use
    - Our CNC machined corrosion resistant misaligns have a tapered snout to adapt your stock upright/spindle with ease
    - We've increased the caster angle that you lose when lifting a truck with stock arms to regain on road stability, handling and alignment

    Technical Specs:
Track Width - 2" Wider each side
    Wheel Travel - 11"+
    Lift - 3"-4"

    Product Requirements:
Shocks - Aftermarket Replacements Shocks, Custom King Shock, Bypass Shocks

What do you have currently in the rear?

There a few options for you depending on how much you are looking to spend.

New shocks and springs will definitely help out with your ride.

Also found Solo Motorsports has a kit that looks solid with solid tie rods. Can someone enlighten me on tie rods with LT kits?

Hey all looking for some mechanics knowledge here...
I've been researching everything I can about suspensions and plan on starting small on my 17 Sport DCSB with some 5100 HAs front and back + AAL + OME springs. Looking for ~2" front and ~1.5" rear for lift+level (chasing the 285 33s dream like many other stockers). I understand most about suspensions, including that the springs are what provide the lift, extending the front shocks up to give the vehicle lift, etc. My question is, if the 5100 HAs have the 5 notches for up to 2" of lift, and the springs say they have 2" of lift, how does that work? If I'm putting on the 2" OME springs, would I set the 5100 HAs to the 5th notch or maybe a different notch for some reason?
    Thanks in advance.

If you are getting coils that'll lift your front end 2 inches, then you would set your 5100's at the lowest (0) unless you want to go higher than 2 inches. But with that being said, many would say to not preload the 5100's.

Okay so in reality the lift would theoretically be equal to coils lift + shocks lift. So if I wanted 3" I would use the 2" coils and set the 5100s to 1" of lift, correct? Theoretically, of course.

Thank your for taking the time to write all of this out. It has been really helpful. Quick question: You mentioned wear on the CV boots from a 3" lift. If you were to use a dif drop, does that help eliminate the excessive war on the CV boots? I have a 2011, 4 door and I am trying to figure out how to add a 3" lift. It seems from other members that Headstrong is a great outfit and the Bilstein 5100's are highly preferred for a basic lift. My main concern is that I don't want to cause the vehicle to handle poorly or cause mechanical failures as the truck drives and runs great now and is my primary vehicle, about 99% highway miles. Any suggestions or thoughts greatly appreciated. It also sounds like new upper control arms are a really good idea.
