I'm a harsh critic on most things and the task of impressing me for stuff I'd bolt on my Taco is higher than that of what I eat :)
That said I have 4 sets of KCs on my 2017 and find them absolutely of the highest quality. From the wiring harness, to the brackets and hardware, to the thoughtful design. While I used my own switches, having some enclosed for testing or use if needed helped to complete the package. Thank you KC for A+ work. I'd put on more if I could think of where to put them! Not shown are the backup lights (C3s) under the rear bumper switched with reverse.
The front Apollos are integrated into my High Beam switch, with the outer beams focused to cover the road area directly ahead that gets "cut off" when you go to factory highs, and the center spots are switched separately to keep it all street legal. The roll bar mounts make daylight out of night, you can read a book hundreds of feet away!

I gotta agree, I do like it behind the grille a lot! That really cleans it up and an added benefit is another layer of security now too.

Dang, it's awesome to hear that you're so pleased with our products! Keep sharing your pics with us, it's a really neat set up. It seems like an upcoming trend is bringing back that roll bar look and you've nailed the look!

Glad you found em! We make those shields in both amber and clear (for extra protection). You can get em in singles like that for yours or in larger sections too for a whole light bar, or parts of it.

My Revtek has 4 tabs built in and my 5” Apollo’s just bolted right on using the supplied posts. Note the Revtek instructions had all these directions about pulling the grill and such...I was able to carefully slip the brackets in and bolt them tightly with box wrenches without removing anything. Helps to have someone hold it up. I covered all the wires with split tubing and wired it all back to a centralized box on top of the fuse box, because, well, I’m a nut job. ;-). There is a wiring cowel beside the steering column I passed through the firewall and I mounted my switches in the coin holder space on the left side of dash above the rear window switch. I tapped the high beam to run the relay for the drive lights.

Light it up and post a pic!

Forgot to post this pic of my truck from a TW meet a few weeks back! Courtesy of either @Brindybot or @05tacomabro. I really need to work on getting my own high quality pics haha.

What lightbar did you have? Is it the one there sitting on the shelf? Do you want to sell it?

How did you like that light bar? Obviously no comparison to the HC but considering they are about $150 less expensive than the C-series, I am thinking about this bar.
