I was thinking the same thing!

yeah me too, I going crazy over here haha we might as well just all have the same avatar!

that's sweet, you should check these out:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E4W1644
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SR96RJE

p.s theres a thread about it and I will try to find it, but essentially it allows you to keep steering wheel controls but also taps into your OBD thing and displays trans temps and shit onto your head unit

It was an install option thru crutchfield, but it was almost double the cost of the normal harness. But have some cool added features!

EDIT: Dang it, now you have me thinking about emailing Crutchfield to see if they will let me exchange the harnesses and spend the extra $75...

I would but that's just me lol once I know I can do something like that I'm like shiiiit now I wanna haha I had just installed my new head unit with the steering wheel control adapter thingy then I found a thread saying that I can add the right side steering wheel controls, like the call answer and hang up buttons, so I ended up ordering a new adapter and and everything I needed to do that. trying to find the answer/hang up on the screen was in PITA when it was sunny and while driving, now I just hit a button on the steering wheel. once my head unit craps out I'm going to upgrade to a nav unit and the idatalink for suree

I don't remember cost. if you buy just the right side controls the LED's wont match. if you're like me, you need it to match. so I replaced both sides lol

    Ribbon - 84204-58010
    RH Control - 8424435030B0
RH + LH + Ribbon - 8425004010B0 (to get matching LED colors)

also note that the Crux SWRTY-61S does not work with right side controls you would need the PAC SWI-RC unless you opt the idatalink maestro. but double check to make sure the maestro is compatible with right side controls as I do not know because I have not looked into and then let me know if you find out lol

this is where I did my reading on the steering wheel controls

I took the driver side jumps seat out and its head rest for more room for the dog. I kept one side in case someone is brave enough to sit back there
