Tailgate handle issue 2012 trd

    2012 Acab TRD
    2012 Access Cab TRD Tailgate handle is acting up. Handle has "play" or "slop" in it and is starting not to latch at all. I sprayed each of side latches with some WD40 which helped a little. Anyone else have this issue ?

    WD-40 is not a lubricant. Remove the plastic tailgate cover and spray all the latch mechanisms with lithium grease or something similar.
