yeah it fits surprisingly, i was worried about that too when i put on the tent. I wanted enough clearance from the cab with the tent that the cover wouldnt rub into the paint...

Bruteforcefab has an adjustable height piece, for his swingouts. I will be getting it as soon as he figures out a cost for me. Im sure you can get one to weld into your swingout.

Tim at RCI was very helpful in getting the right rear diff skid to me and cover the shipping of the old one back. Initially they sent a skid with the drain hole on the opposite side from my order.

What this thing is made of? I used some this summer and should have worn gloves! I was full of small needles stinging my skin!

John, truck is looking badass per usual! Hey I have a few questions. I just recieved my Allpro Expos with U bolt flip kit and Wheelers Super Bumps and extended rear brake lines. I am looking to do the install myself. My old setup was my stock leaf pack with an 1.5" AAL and Firestone ride rite airbags with Daystar cradles. I was considerably lighter back then, I have since installed a Bedslide, Hardshell RTT and a shell. I have upgraded to ADS EXT travel 700 #RR front and rear shocks and Total Choas UCAs. I consistently carry 400-500#on a daily basis, and even more when I load up gear for a trip. My first question is, how hard was the install of the new leaf packs (I'll be doing it by myself)? Second, is there a reason you kept your airbags as opposed to some sort of static bump stop? You have me considering returning the super bumps and just using the bags as bump stops. Third, do you have axle shims and if so did you keep them when you installed the Expos? I have 3 degree shims and I am curious as to if I will need to leave them, I'm assuming yes. Lastly, did you keep the bags to slow the fatigue of the Expos over time? Thanks brother

the rear i have solved it by using the old liners cutting them up and using self taping screws / zip ties. The fronts are pretty much bedlined but i may revisit them at some later point as its more of a pain to clean in those new areas

Hey man thanks for visiting my build and your comments. The leaf install was very straight forward for me since my truck is from a region that is without exposure to salt. A buddy who bought his truck from the east had trouble with his front leaf bolts when it came time to replace them. He ended up having to cut them out and buying new hardware

I worked on the install with a lift so total time to swap everything and do the airbags was around 30 minutes. You will want to lube/grease the sleeve bushings or bolts as you assemble them to keep them from making noises down the road.

As for the airbags, I am use to wheeling with them and having the versatility to air them when i need to haul heavy loads. A key factor to wheeling them is to air them down, you can even compress them to vacuum if you apply pressure as you air down to give you full stuff. I used the shims i had from my old leaf pack so i dont have experience without them. You can keep the bags inflated to slow the fatigue of the leafs over time. I always run at least 5psi in mine to keep them properly inflated.

Hope this helps man, let me know if you have further questions. I also welded the extension brackets so the third leg on the air bag mount sits on the axle.

Thanks for your quick response! I too welded on the extension brackets on my airbag cradles, although mine are a crude homemade rendering of the ones from Firestone, but hey they work. I don't have a lift, but I do have stout jacks stands and I will crib the frame as I lift for extra stability. The leaf pack install seems very straight forward so I think I will attempt it. I think I will remove my air bags and install the super bumps. I'll keep the airbags to reinstall in the future if I see I need them. Do you have extended rear brake lines? Any tricks to getting that install right the first time? Just bleed furthest from the master cylinder to the closest, correct?
