That's good to hear. I'm usually pretty hesitant about buying products right when they come to market, but I would prefer the "pause before impacting" feature over high torque (at least for my first impact wrench)

PM me your email? I can send you the final quote. 6AH are about the same price as 5AH so they are the better buy. You would save $10 if you went with 5AH.

Hey @dwaltdtx, had a tech question for ya....
If I bought a 60V circular saw, will my 20V batteries work on said saw and vice versa?
I haven't been able to get a straight answer on this and to date, only own 20V DeWalt tools. Thanks!

60v batt will work on 20v tools, but not the other way around

Ended up pulling a trigger on a set of M18 Fuels for $300 and got a free M18 Fuel tool of my choice. Pretty solid deal.

@dwaltdtx I have the drill/driver combo kit. I believe the drill is the cheaper, less beefy, version from home depot. I overused the hell out of the drill on the last 2 home renovations and it shit the bed. Black chunks of stuff were flying out of the motor and it basically stopped spinning. It's the 20v brushless drill, I think it's brushless anyway... What can I do here? I've been looking to expand on the 20v line and maybe get into the 60v if it makes sense. The only cordless Dewalt product I have now is the driver. My dad has the milwaukee drill/driver and they feel more contractor grade. It's his first set of Milwaukee cordless. We've always used dewalt. Think I should jump the Dewalt ship or stay the course?

I think i would rather stay with dewalt, but I want to see what you say. In terms of expanding on what I have, I could definitely use a sawzall and circular saw. A hammer drill would be helpful. The multitool would be nice, but I have a corded one, same with the grinder. I have the corded dewalt table saw and chop saw, and the 2 different stands for the chop saw. I love the chop saw stand that folds down and wheels off like a hand-truck.

Oh, and I have the radio/charger. most important tool on the job!!!

So you have a cheap DeWalt drill that you are comparing to a premium Milwaukee tool? How is that fair? Also, if you had black chunks coming out of the motor, it doesn't sound like it was a brushless unit.
