I finally got around to speaking to the service manager at the dealership. They install lifts there. First I addled him for the price. He said it's a 3" TOYTEC LIFT, with rear blocks, dif drop and carrier drop. $2600 installed. Then I asked about vibrations from the front dif bearing. He said he has never put a lift on a 16+ model that has had any vibrations, and he had never heard of the bearing issue. On vehicles that they lift for the show room (and to sell) they fit 285/75-16 tires on the Tacomas... with no CMC. So I guess they are counting on people not off roading them.

Just thought it was am interesting enough discussion to share.

For 2600, you can get THIS.

...plus your choice of Upper CA's and Lower CA's. Maybe a Rigid lightbar on top of all that. MAYBE. Especially with all youre spending. Fuck it. Get quality bro. You already are spending it on a new truck. Go hard.

I decided to go this route, and just kept the stock wheel setup, but however... i went and got Falken AT3's in 285/75/R16's... along with spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers to add for a more aggressive stance.

This reads, "upper upper control arms and lower upper control arms."

Mind you, I wasnt going there shopping for a lift. My intention was to find out if they acknowledge a bearing issue and if they do the bushing fix.
