First solo post to the forums with some questions guys! Recently had a buddy of mine shoot me a pair of his 2.0 sway a way coilovers from his, IIRC, 2006 tundra. The top mount is missing one for my truck but I'm hoping there's some way I can still mount these boys instead of having to buy new ones. If anyone has suggestions or links for me that'd be awesome! Just can't seem to find anything on converting if it's even possible.

On the bright side, had these bad boys come in the mail today and I'm stoked. Happy ex pensive early Christmas to me:D

Are they even compatible with your truck? That might be why they aren't lining up ... if you haven't found anything I'm pretty sure it couldn't be done ??? Idk though. Did your buddy tell you they would bolt right up

I believe these Coilovers will not fit your truck, as someone tried to put some Tundra OEM Coils/Shocks on their 2nd Gen and they wouldn't line up.

Those aren't going to fit...since he gave them to you maybe he won't mind you selling them to fund a pair for your truck. If they're in decent condition they should fetch a few hundred bucks, SAWs are great coilovers but hard to find parts for or so I've heard.

I actually have a set of SAWs that I bought off a member on here awhile back but I decided to get new Kings instead, if you're interested in them we can talk. They need a rebuild.

youl need the tacoma top mounts or make your own. tundra shocks are slightly longer but have been used on tacos before with the right top hat. Also youl probably want to get them rebuilt and revalved.

Has it been tried on a first gen? I have yet to try to put these on. I'm waiting for my neighbor to order my the LCAS ball joints. Going to fix up my front end suspension all in one go

I'll be buying the master rebuild kit, valving may be a bit more tricky for me. I've looked around but can't seem to find any top plates by themselves?

Call AFE see if they can rebuild them for your 2000 Tacoma.

Scrapping this project. Ended up buying a fully built bed cage and will be going "half-ass" long travel. Thanks for the suggestions though everyone!
