Yes buy new leafs, or hit the junkyard and find less saggy ones, or bust yours apart and make a frankenpack and add another leaf.
I cracked up when I read that your dad bought it and put smaller tires on it. Total old man move right there.

“GD kids with their oversized tires and too-tall suspensions! Someone get me some worn out 2wd leaf springs and some little bitty tires ASAP!”

Exactly!! Tires, and pulled my brushguard too! I'm surprised he didn't pull my transfer case... Too much weight... Fuel mileage... Blah blah! As far as the front, the swingarm has a rubber stopper. There is only like an inch gap before bottoming out. U can kinda see it in pic on left edge. Could something have been done to front end to lower it? Just doesn't look bad ass like it did, even when I measure in bigger tires. No wheelwell clearance. Missing that powerband at high rpm too. Clean tight truck though 99 18yrs old 110ish miles.

I was 30 when I bought it new. It was my first new truck. Bought it back for my son. Ok, ... and for my surf fishing weekends.

the suspension is definitely sagging, creating the lower clearances. although the front never really had more than a few inches before bottoming out on the bumpstop (rubber stopper you refer to) also swingarm is the "lower control arm (LCA)" just for your future FYI.

Update your profile page with region and look in the Buy/Sell/Trade section for used parts if you don't want to buy new. Sometimes you can find local people who have swapped out parts and can get their slightly used ones on the cheap :)

also here is the difference between the tire sizes https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=235-75r15-31-10.5r15

    oh and welcome to TW.
