No, i placed the drip line just in between the two flaps. I can take a pic shortly.

The windshield seal flaps in the wind when driving, you can just poke it into the crack between the windshield and cab with a flathead. Takes 30 seconds

Normally the upper side of the seal sits on top of the cab, you can see in the pic that I just poked it down. It fixed my kazoo 100% after being frustrated by everything else not working

Thanks, been going rounds with the dealership since shortly after purchasing my Tacoma new in 2015 to get this fixed. Going to try this tonight.

Sometimes it can be a pain because i don't have the drip line glued into the channel or anything so it can pop up a little or readjust itself. If you notice it moved, just fix it by readjusting it with your hands (or glue it in). Mine runs the length of the whole channel up to where you see it in the picture.

Why do dealers get pissy about TSBs? Don't they get reimbursed for the work?

I recorded mine with my cell phone... and as soon as the TSB was issued, they proved the parts under warranty.

I bugged them about it every time I was in for an oil change.

Whenever I mention tsb to joe Myers Toyota here in Houston they give me a look like I landed in an alien spaceship, or that look your dog gives you when he is confused.

My passenger side door is the only one that makes a kazoo noise. I've put 3 pieces of drip line in there and it still does it in extreme winds. Based on the parts numbers given, online Toyota parts websites say 67861-04062 is "right" door seal. Is "right" the passenger side? Just want to clarify before ordering.

Honestly... I have no idea. Sorry! You may need to give the dealership a call and have them give you that answer. Or maybe someone else here can answer that.

Thanks. I stopped by a dealership yesterday and checked. They didn't have it in stock and wanted $75 for one side. I ordered it online for like $50 with shipping. Can't wait to get it in there. It's the windy time of year and I drive a lot. The drip line trick stopped it 90% but I still get periodic brrrts with big gusts of wind.

My last 2 Tacoma’s did this, very annoying...I was lucky and local dealership paid for the last one and it was 2k miles out of warranty even though I didn’t buy it from them.
