The mattress is awesome!

 

looks mega nice! Pretty soft? and does the tent come with the anti condensation mat?

 

Its really soft! I think its a 3" memory foam.

There is no anti condensation mat. But I think its because there is no aluminum floor like a traditional tent. Which is also why its so light! Weighs in around 105lbs. Its the mattress, on top of another mattress type thing, on a frame

 

ah, okay. Gonna do some digging and gather some feedback but I am very interested. I have a really nice CVT Mt. Shasta Extended Summit Series w/star gazer, that I have zero complaints with. Just like the more open design of these other tents.

 

the M49 which I have is a 2 person. @inesshell has a M55 which is even bigger

My rtt goes off and on a couple times a year. During cooler season it pretty much stays on. If its not up there I have my yak/canoe rack installed. Anyway, because I store all my canoes and kayak from my shop ceiling, I have no room for a proper rtt lift. So it stores on a dolly against my shop wall. While installing it today I wondered how others get their rtt on the rack/cap, whatever. I have done this enough over the years that I have a pretty efficient system of doing it by myself. Whats your process of installation? Are you smart and get help or do you man handle by yourself or have a hoist system?

 

Mine just stays on year round, and I can squeeze my kayaks up there with it.

 

I plan on fabricateing another yak/canoe rack that will mount with my rtt. I've carried them individually with rtt installed. My shortest is 13ft. It Has caused some abrasive damage to my cover. when my fishing buddy is with me I Have to have my yak/canoe rack, it's not wide enough for two yaks side by side.

 

Dang, those are long! Mine are only 10.5' (maybe 9.5) and they barely fit. I'll be curious to see what you come up with.

My plan is to fab racks that are installed between my bed rack and rtt. They will extend out past the ends of the rtt for and aft. Like the one I already fabbed but longer out front and back.

 

I put that fucker up there by myself.
