What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Swapped my TRD fake locks for some SCS F5's.

 

Nice. So you said you took your toytec off. Are you looking to get rid of the rear lift from that kit??

I ran into this exact problem swapping my stock billy's out with 5100's 2 days ago. I used a Dremel to square off some flats on the chrome shock shaft so I could put a wrench on it. Worked great

Let me know what you are quoted. I've found black replacement OEM's on eBay for >$150.

 

Changed my rotors that had the shakes. Put in some ceramic pads to go with it. The test drive afterward was amazingly better.

5100's all around, OME 883's, FJ steel wheels, Cooper S/T MAXX 255/75 R17. Going with either 1" or 1/2" blocks in the back, haven't decided yet.

Getting my Ray 10's on the Taco, super stoked!

 

Today I did some more clearancing for the 35's. Cab mount chop and beat back the firewall and pinch weld. Currently on 255 85 r16's but should be on the new tires Tuesday.

 

I know it's not an option on their site, but it might be a custom order.

 

I need to do this mod soon.
