Hey Y'all! I'll be down in early Oct. for a weekend. Where's there likely to be some snow wheeling? I grew up in Bend so I'm familiar with the region, but never 4WD in the mountains. Thanks!

Dang, I really want that set up for my Tacoma. I would totally buy that stuff from you if my truck was a short bed...

Did you have to do anything special to fit the soft topper on there with the pack rack?

Nope, didn't have to do anything special. I did lower the Softopper to it's lowest pinhole to allow the tent mounting bolts to clear. Nothing custom though.

I was up in the mountains playing in the snow yesterday. You shouldn't have an issue if you go up Cascade Lakes Hwy and peel off into the woods.

Ok I'll probably take the topper if you want to separate it

Good Guys Muffler here in Bend hooked up a decent price and did a great job on my exhaust reroute recently. Thought I 'd share in case anyone else is in need... IMG_1559.jpgIMG_1560.jpgIMG_1558.jpgSimple, clean chop and weld. More clearance and it clears the back end of the transfer case by lots.

I hesitated to post the price at first... I called twice and chatted with them before I scheduled an appointment. I was warned that the reroute could take up to 3 hrs of work (shop rate+ $100/hr.) and may require building a new Y pipe, that they may not be able to weld where the cut should be made and would have to slip-sleeve it, etc. I explained to them how others have done it and brought them pics I stole from the inter-webs. They used that, took another look at it, and then were able to complete the reroute quickly, chop/weld it, without building a Y pipe, and it only cost $134. Cost included 1 hr of labor and some materials. Not bad at all in my opinion. I also appreciate them preparing me for the worse, and then having it be cheaper and easier then thought.

Thanks. And now I can finally mount my skids! :headbang:

Got tired of all my crap taking up space on the floor behind the seats. Added a shelf.

Purchased a full set of skids from Mobtown Offroad and a fuel tank skid from Pelfreybilt recently. I prepped and painting them finally and installed right after my exhaust reroute. IMG_1571.jpg IMG_1587.jpg IMG_1591.jpgIMG_1595.jpg
