HID or LED

Hmmm that's interesting, I've never heard of those before. However, I want to see pics up against a wall or garage door before I'll believe that they don't scatter light. There are a lot of led's that "claim" to not scatter light and blind other drivers but still do.

 

Give me a bit for the sun to go down and I will post some.

 

update on the hid, I plugged them in and they caught on fire....so I'm sending them back for a the same led I run in my headlight now just a h1 instead of h4

It's all good the hid itself started to smoke and then started to flame just a tad no harm done

 

You didn't touch the bare bulb with your fingers and get skin oil on them did you? Or wipe them down with alcohol solution that could have had some residue? I'm curious what could have been the fuel source.

 

no I didn't touch them at all they were still in the plastic cover before I hooked them up, i wired them in then rook the cover off went and flipped on the headlights and about 5-10 seconds of turning on it began to smoke and burn

I actually had a set of these ordered but canceled it because I was afraid it would be a shitty projector when I put my LED in it, that looks like the same ones I had ordered but I'm not sure. did you make these?

 

Same as the ones you talked about. They are pretty good so far. Halogen in them now, but I'm going to try hid and led.

 

can you send me a pic of how the light looks down the road?
