    Not yet, curious as well. Don't want water soaking the electronics or dumping around the spark plug coils while driving (it can seep right on in)

    Always kinda liked this rubicon hood and toyed with the idea of buying one, cutting it out and adding to the stock hood.

    Looking good! It's about what I'd imagine a CFD sim would have come up with anyways. (or at least in the ballpark!)

    So interestingly enough, those louver fins sit proud of the hood surface so I think they are basically acting as their own gurney flaps:

    The idea behind such protrusions is they create a low pressure zone on the outside of the louvers which causes air to evacuate from under the hood much faster when you are at speed. Without these, the attached flow over the hood is going to act as a "barrier" almost, keeping outgoing air to a minimum.
