Just joined. Is there a thread on how to remove them? The access is pretty tight and I had one shatter as well. Thanks.

Just wanted to bump this post to see if anyone has any new options for aftermarket LED upgrades. My driver's side lens took a rock on the freeway and cracked on my 2014 Taco and the OEM part 8122008020 is way overpriced... like $145 for one stinkin' light! Seems like I could upgrade to LED for a little more.

Anything out there that uses polycarbonate or something stronger than the OEM lens?

Another option is to just go cheap since it will probably break again. This is just a generic housing + bulbs... no LED's or wiring/switch. $23/pair.

Not sure which direction to go.

KC Hilites 500/501. Plug and play OEM replacement. Get them from Amazon; saves about $50 compared to KC Hilites website. Or hit up @Taylor@KC HiLiTES

OEM fogs fit my bumper and I took a rock in one, so went to these.

Very nice... the KC's are spendy, but have a 23-year warranty... that says something.

What kind of bumper is that?

    Thanks for the tag!

@MilSpec Our lenses are a super tough polycarbonate as we design all of our stuff to take quite a beating. Our LED fog lights are a direct plug and play light with no different bezel or anything needed. They're also certified street legal fog lights so you can actually use them on the road as fog lights. As @EDDO said, I'll help you out on pricing if you're interested!

Just a quick update. I decided to try a more affordable method before dropping hundreds on premium brand lights [nothing against those]. This setup cost me only ~$40 total.

It was $24 for a pair of Anxingo light housings/lenses, and another $15 for the CoolFix LED bulbs. Not sure if these bulbs have a built-in resistor, but I have not noticed any odd-ball electrical issues yet. I will let you all know if I run into any trouble down the road. For now, they seem to be working as expected and were simple plug and play. The replacement lenses are still glass, so I doubt they will last forever.

Here are some pix. So far, so good. The housing replacement mounting holes were not 100% perfectly aligned to the tabs and screw holes, but they were close enough to get them on there. From the front, it looks great, and the LED's are very bright.

Quick update after having used the cheap eBay parts above for a month and a half now. As some of you can imagine, you get what you pay for. The lens replacement seems to have a slight water leak, so when it rains, it fogs up a bit for a few days.

Also, the LED bulbs seem to produce significantly less useful light than the stock H11 bulbs. They look nice, and seem to be working ok, but are not nearly as bright... regardless of lumen claims by the seller. They simply disburse the light every which way rather than keeping it low and wide. Not well designed.

These are ok, for now, and only cost me $40 total. However, I will be tossing them in the trash and getting something better [like the KC's mentioned above] when the new bumper gets installed.
