Can you fit 285's with stock suspension on 4runners? Your sitting tall as shit. What suspension are you running?

 

Yes you can with very slight trimming. I'm running the ToyTec Ultimate kit, 3" front and back. Here's what it looked like with the 285's on stock suspension.

 

My wife just let me buy her a 4Runner. I think I love it more than her, and more than my Tacoma haha. So now the fight is trying to sell her on 285's and a new suspension. What trimming is necessary?

 

Remove the front mud flaps and trim the lower inside edge of the front bumper where you never actually see it. Otherwise they fit perfectly on stock suspension. I sold my 2016 Tacoma at 3500 miles. Loved the truck, hated the 3.5 with the 6 speed auto. Bought this in it's place. Buy these for her! Don't even need a lift if you don't want it.

 

Down in here is where I moved the plastic inner fender forward and trimmed the plastic bumper. Can't even tell it was done.

 

That looks awesome! It doesn't rub even when flexed?

 

Never wheeled it so honestly couldn't tell you but it never rubs on the street.
