When I decided to buy a new Tacoma I bought the base SR truck and then built my truck the way I wish Toyota would have. I added the Tacoma door emblems, TRD grill and Limited fog lights. I also like not having the wheel lip moldings. I just added the fog lights this week. I appreciated the help I got from other Tacoma World members while I was doing this. I think its done now. It shares my garage with the 65 Ford Galaxie 500 that I have owned 30 years pictured below.gasser nats 2017 106.jpg gasser nats 2017 113.jpg

What parts did you have to get for the fog lights? I also have an SR and have been making it my own. Love the Galaxie...makes me miss my hot rod days.

I picked up the bezels and lights off the Tacoma World. I had to buy a aftermarket wiring kit and Toyota connectors to the fog lights. SR models like mine did not have the wiring preinstalled to do this. There is a video on how to install fog lights in a Gen 3 Tacoma SR and it lists a company in Indianapolis that makes a fog light kit. I found it by punching in 16-17 Toyota Tacoma SR fog light installation video. I think the company was M&B Auto or something like that. Good luck.

OP - That is a sharp looking truck!! I love the tires, wheel, and the cheese grater grill (I happen to like the cheese grater)!

Its a North Carolina car with a 300 HP 289. Pictures say more so I will attach a couple more.
I put the skirts on at cruise ins once in awhile but I run it on the street with out them. Ive owned it since 1988 and it has never seen snow and has only been caught in the rain twice since I got it. I also did most of the work on it during the restoration except the paint. It has won more than 50 trophies before I stopped taking it to car shows. After awhile I realized that I would rather be with my family than sitting in a parking lot all day with a bunch of guys who cant stop talking about their cars. Im proud of it but that stuff just got old. Thanks for liking it. My Tacoma is a driver and I have no plans to replace it either and will drive it until one of us wont go anymore.

The Tacoma and the Ford are both very nice. Thanks for posting more photos of the Galaxie.
