    Hey, Folks.

I just leased a 2017 TRD Sport Access Cab with the 6MT. Our plan is to buy out the lease in a few years.

Our Fam has been a one car / two bike garage for the past four years. The winter bike and kid shuttle, a 2013 Ural GearUp, was just not reliable. Too many serious driveline failures in only 20,000mi. So, I kinda when to the entire opposite end of the reliability spectrum while still keeping the offroad factor.

Now, I just need to finish the last bunch of repairs to the Ural and kick it out of bed.

    Have a good one.

    Thanks, Folks!

I am already enjoying the resources here. Awesome stuff.

My first challenge was just getting it in the garage. One shelf down and about 3in to the garage door:

I'll have more space once the Ural is sold.

Thanks! It was absolutely killer when running. Relaxing in the rain, fun in the mud, and just rockin' in the snow.

    This was me dicking around:

A friend helped me add a plate for a fork mount:

I will miss it, but I am just enjoying the hell out of the Taco.

    Have a good one.

Thanks! But somehow, the Russians can't seem to fab a driveline that can handle 40 measly HP. I missed two planned trips this summer due to major failures.

I don't think the truck will be doing the Gambler 500, but I am looking forward to back country camping and some fun adventures.

Thanks, but the plan is to ride the wheels off my other bike and maybe get an SM / MX conversion someday. That'll work better with the truck anyway.

Thanks! We're starting to call the bike, garage art. Looks great, doesn't work!
