was this the same one on Jay's IG a while back? I remember seeing something about manual hubs and I swore the pic of them was on T4R Trail rims.

Towards the end, it looks like he got a new one installed, and looks fine. He said the previous owner had it lifted too high.

I was thinking the same! Place looks huge, 4 car garage, front entry that looks like a hotel. $6k paint job and sells within a year

Yeah, Kushi reposted a pic of my 2014 4Runner with the kit I designed installed on it a while back. Not to be confused with another guy on Tacoma World trying to copy me, selling a cheaper kit with cheap parts.

So now you're starting a smear campaign?

    FOR THE RECORD:
You did EXACTLY as BamaToy1997 said in 2012, years before you supposedly came to the same conclusion.

    Who's copying who?

TacomaWorld forum figured out the hub/bearing assembly years before you did it for your 2014 4Runner. But you wouldn't know that, you only recently joined just to peddle your product- you don't even own a Tacoma, do you? Are you the parts sales manager at the dealership you work at?
    BamaToy1997 is the real HERO.

What you and I do is completely different. You WEAKEN the CV shaft by machining away, to fit in a 1st Gen outer joint.
I designed and manufacture a standalone product, which was in development well before your arrival.
Cheaper? You mean LESS EXPENSIVE. Total cost of my product is HALF of yours, including Aisin hubs.

I'm going to post this everywhere you make reference to my product.

Smear campaign? Just stating facts. Are the parts in “your kit” Genuine Toyota? No they’re not. What parts do you use? Probably Aftermarket. And that’s fine. I’ve clearly stated before you can build my kit for cheaper by using aftermarket bearings and other parts. I just offer them with genuine parts because I know how much more longer they last than aftermarket. It’s all preferance. Cost is one thing, quality is another.

As for what BamaToy1997 did back in 2012 is totally fine. Anybody that has been working on Toyota’s in 2003 would know that the hubs are the same! I did back in 2003!!! But you think it was discovered in 2012 because somebody posted it then, right???? I’ve probably owned and worked on more Toyotas than you ever drove in your lifetime. Service manager, no. But I am a certified ASE Master, Factory trained Toyota Technician with over 15 years in the field. You could say I have some experience WORKING on these trucks. Do you? Probably not. Sounds like you just lurk the internet fishing for info to build “your kit” huh? Kinda like how you PM’d me questions about MY kit AFTER I post it on Tacoma World!!! I’d say good luck in life and keep it real, but we both know you can’t. You’ll always be a step behind the real innovators.

I've been a member since 2011, within 24 hrs of purchasing my Tacoma- still contributing.

I too have ASE certificatons. I worked for BMW manufacturing in Spartanburg, SC building X-series before I joined the Navy. I also have two journeyman certifications from the US Dept of Labor for maintenance mechanic, in any industry, and electrician, any industry. Each required 8,000 hrs of documented work. I'm not going to mention my bachelors from Clemson. Now, I manage the maintenance of flight line support equipment on MCBH, a position I worked myself into- I've turned a wrench or two. You're free to read my build thread. Where's yours?
