I know this is probably a repeat question but does anyone have experience mounting Front Runner accessories on the Prinsu? My rack is scheduled for Friday delivery and I've also ordered the Front Runner surf and paddle board carriers as well. I was pretty confidant I could fab something up if there wasn't a simple solution but would much rather not reinvent the wheel and keep it simple if possible.

is it noisy on the highway? that's my most concern. what did you spend? my cart is coming up to $600, did you need to buy the 1x1 cross bar?

My total was $595 total, including the $55 shipping to So Calif, but I didn't buy the 1x1 but now see I could have to clear the shark fin in the rear - I just turned the last crossbar vertical to clear it instead, so it's not a big deal. There was a lot of wind noise where the fairing is, and I originally had it set in the middle, but I'm happy the way I adjusted it today- lowest setting with top pulled outward (towards the front of the truck) until the bottom just clears the roof. I used a piece of edge combing to finish the top and bottom of the fairing piece: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01BWKCUAO/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I only ordered powder coated sides and wind fairing, the cross bars are clear. The bars don't show that much so I didn't think $100 more was worth it to have an all black rack. I will post pics soon, wanted to wait until I was somewhere pretty instead of in town, but that's ok. The noise is a lot less with my most recent adjustments. The sound strip CBI sells is very similar to the link I gave in my previous post. Yeah, it's expensive for aluminum, you're paying for the design style over the cost in weight of the aluminum!

I kept the cross braces clear to save money, as powdered cost twice as much as clear bars, and the clear bars really don't show that much from ground level.

Down the windshield and under the hood to my aux fuse block. Switch is in my center console so wires through a grommet in the firewall.

Not needed, but the 1x1 fits nice and neat. You can always rotate the 2x1 vertically to fit.

Sorry for the crappy driveway shot, this truck needs to go out more often! I was hoping to get scenery behind it, but here's my digs and other toy instead...

I think the clear crossbars go well on it - EDIT: even on darker trucks, but they do not show up much behind the black side bars and front fairing unless you are higher than the truck.

Does anyone know if there is a diagram/schematic somewhere that shows dimensions and spacing of the threaded roof inserts on a 2014 Tacoma, maybe a top down picture either the rubber trim removed and showing measurements?

Here's my pics on my white truck (above) - as you see, the plain crossbars hide pretty well behind the sides and front- I saved $100 doing that.
