Considering steering rack and pump. Might be a lot to chew on a mod day, wanna make sure I could finish it. Is that something you'd want in your driveway @MJonaGS32 ? No worries if not, Ill do it at home a weekend coming up.

Anyone going to mod day have experience replacing a steering rack?

I've replaced one on a 1st gen and it's not horrible (granted same type design/procedure for the most part). Hardest part was the rag joint and not stripping the PS lines. Otherwise a good 3-4 hour job with moderate help, quicker with someone who knows what they are doing.

Yo wassup. I came to the last one to drink beer and make friends. I'm ready to dive in head first. Would Bilsteins all around with OME springs up front and an add a leaf be too much for one jackass who can't do it himself? I can come early.
And I won't take @Tee Arghhhhhh Dee's glory but I'll bring some smoked whatever kind of animal he's not bringing ontop of the cooler of beer from last time.

Fine with me, just as long as you get it done before the day is over. I watched @sytfu510 change his rack at my place - didn't seem hard. If there's enough people helping out with the suspension mods, I can help out.

Not sure if anyone is bringing a welder this time, but in case someone wants to, I have 220 in the garage.

We should be able to get it done.

All of the suspension guys should plan to get to my place at 8AM so we have all hands on deck and can pump through all of the trucks. With 3-4 people I don't see why we can't finish a lift in a couple of hours.

I may very well have my leafs installed prior to the install day... that way there will be more time and space for others that really need the help verses just waiting to do it like I was going to lol but main thing is to have them actually get shipped to my house lol come on deaver send me my springs! JK i'll be happy when they get here just impatient
