So I ended up printing it as 2 pieces to help with printability and the fact that I sandwiched some square nuts in between for mounting.

Also as an FYI you don't need to sand it fully down. I used bed liner on mine and all I did was use a scotch brite pad to scuff the surface. If you went the plastic dip route you don't sand it prior to application.

Edit: a note on the printer setup; I could do something on that but as you've probably seen everyone has different results with different settings. It's a big time trial & error to get everything cooperating and playing together nicely :duel:

Good to know about the prep work, I should have some cans of rustolium bed liner rattle can spray in the garage. I think a 3D printer thread would be super cool, but you may get hounded for making stuff lol.

IMG_2258.jpg I had the full chrome grille and painted it flat black and color matched the emblem to the quicksand!

I am still procrastinating creating a build thread for my Turd so I will probably add some basics in there since I've done a project or 2 already and have plenty more ideas. Haha yes you can get hounded but, it's not terrible. The one product I did design and sell is some covers for the bed side cubbies. They help to keep the moisture and road debris out of them; so that's been my recent project to benefit members here. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bed-cubby-covers-for-sale.491909/
