Yes, they are on 907 Yotas. I want to keep that group of decent members, and I am an admin on it so let me know if anyone is starting shit. ALASKA OFFROAD group can be a bunch of bitchy assholes, we can't let that happen.

Yeah I don’t like Alaska Off-road page for that reason. There’s just a bunch of drama and people getting super upset all of the time. I will keep my eye out for that stuff, we don’t need it.

The rear will be very stiff with just a single AAL. A full leaf pack or multileaf AAL is a better option. A full three inches in the front will require new upper control arms to get the alignment back in spec.

Alright cool thanks, but even if i have a topper in the back? And how much weight can this support...? Load wise? Anyone shed some light on this?

When I had that setup I could put a 500lb ATV in the bed with very little change in height. With an empty bed it was stiff and bouncy over even small bumps with little to no suspension travel because it was so stiff.

I wouldn't bother with the diff drop, and just stay shy of anything over 3" because you will eat CV's often. 5100's all around will be a better ride than stock, but once you lift, the front end the ride gets worse since you are preloading the coil to get the lift, so not really much "better". (so when you hit a bump the angle of the LCA is closer to vertical, and the spring is already compressed significantly more than stock. Stock height the coil is maybe compressed 2 inches. For the 3" lift option you will compress the spring even more so that the spring is acting "stiffer" now and holding the truck up more giving a more jarring ride.)

Now for the rear, a single AAL will be fairly stiff, if you have a heavy shell you might not notice quite how bad it can be without any weight in the bed. 2-3 leaf AAL options are sometimes good enough to not need a new leaf pack. Or one can go to a junkyard and make their own AAL, but thats probably best saved for the more mechanically inclined and some people just don't like that idea. :)

Thanks, i'm planning on getting the 888's with the 5100's.. i'm adding the UCA's and LCA's in at the same time. Will that help with not destroying my CV's?

Edit: what would you think would be my best bet? The 2-3. AAL? Or single 2' aal is fine to go with the leer topper?

I'm thinking about the total chaos upper control arms... should i get lowers at the same time then too?

    LCA's are pointless to upgrade.

UCA's add in extra caster to help the steering (especially the return to center of the steering wheel) since it helps pull the alignment specs back in to near factory. It doesn't change camber unless you get the HEIM adjustable ones and have a really good alignment tech. I don't think that the 5100's are "supposed" to run the stiffer OME coils, but a lot of people do it.

Honestly I prefer OME with new UCA's over 5100s for lifting a stock truck a couple inches. My $.02
