    Just trying to find out if this is a good bang for your buck... don't got a lot to spend as i am trying to balance everything out. I can always upgrade in the future. But just wanna start off with something simple for now... thanks everyone.

    It's not a sweeping deal but it's a pretty complete kit. I would prefer a 3 leaf progressive AAL over the single leaf, better ride.

    Expect just over 2 inches up front after the springs settle with the 887 springs which might require aftermarket UCAs (not included).

    Thanks guys. But does anyone know the weight capacity those AAL's can handle? I've got a topper and i wanted to see if it will still sag, or will it be an even lift... i want a little bit of rake on it..

    How big or heavy is the topper?

    Best bet is to call Marie and Headstrong Offroad with that information to see if the AAL is sufficient or a full leafpack replacement would be better for the weight.

    I have a toolbox mounted in my bed with 100lbs of stuff and I still maintain factory rake with a 3 leaf AAL and 885 springs up front.

    Is that a shortbed? The rear on those are lighter than the longbed and the weight is spread out pretty good with a topper. Will the bed be empty most of the time?

    Edit: forget that, I see you have a longbed too. How heavy is a Leer 100xr for a longbed?

    I have a long bed... i'm hearing its about 250 lbs... bed will be empty most of the time. Just loading itup with my Firefighting gear and what not...

    My Headstrong kit with 887 coils, single AAL, and A.R.E. topper yielded a 2 (and change) inch lift with a 1/2 inch rake. Marie did not recommend the 3 leaf AAL due to the constant weight of the topper.

    That might be right, the single AAL is pretty stiff in an empty truck and she would know best.

    Recommend adding the ECGS bushing replacement to your install too as a preventive measure. Best to do while everything is apart than to find out later you develop vibrations and need to rip the front end apart again to replace the needle bearing with the bushing.

    Oh by the way. Do you have a exact number of lift on the fronts? Would it be close to 2.5? Or 2.75?

    Every truck is a little different but you should end up with just over 2 inches front and back from stock.
