I have a 2004 automatic TRD. Cruise control no longer comes on. I replaced the switch, still nothing. No indicator lights. Brake lights do work.

Cruise control issues are sometimes caused by a bad clockspring. Does your horn work? Is your airbag light on? Any turn signal issues?

If you have any issues when the steering wheel is being rotated, it is very likely to be the clockspring

Yes my horn works, no lights come on. I have a check engine lite on, but that is an emissions thing. I was wondering if it could be the e-brake. I had problems with the cable, I thought I fixed it however, no lite.

On my 01 I had a recall years ago on the cruise control. It would sometimes not come on and other times it would cancel on its own. Toyota sent me a recall and I had it fixed in probably 04/05 but I can't be sure on the year. I don't remember all of the details with it being so long ago, but I feel like it had something to do with a cruise control module.... might try some google searching?

The e-brake has nothing to do with the cruise control.

It might be a bad cruise unit or module, but you say you changed it and it did nothing....

Is the cruise control working, despite the light not coming on? If so, it's just a burnt bulb. If not, try checking the wiring
